On the Anglia &amp; Thames Valley Bus Forum it has been reported that a former Great Yarmouth Blue Buses Volvo B10M/Alexander RV double decker came off the B1086 St Ives Road on Friday. 

The vehicle concerned is believed to be either F50ACL or F51ACL. Both are currently owned by Dews of Somersham.

﻿A Dennis Trident caught fire on its return to Norwich following an MOT at Great Yarmouth's Caister Road depot on Tuesday. There were no passengers on board at the time﻿﻿.

On arrival at Market Gates, I was met by what appeared to be an abandoned Setra oustside the Troll Cart public house. Norfolk County Council has agreed a loan of just over £2 million to fund the development of the Beach Coach station car park. The money is to be used to build 19 homes at the car park which is located at the northern end of the site. It will also fund a new entrance to the site.

All were in Grand Tourer livery with two of them parked immediately outside the hotel in Kimberley Place. The two there awaiting their passengers were 101 (BK09RMV) above and 201 (BK10EJA) below.

More than half a century since it was new to Great Yarmouth Corporation, Leyland PD2 No 66 (EX6566) briefly returned to its former Caister Road depot on Saturday last. Its current owners, the East Anglia Transport Museum, was using it to collect some redundant bus glazing items . It was a former Great Yarmouth Transport Leyland Atlantean PDR1/1 single decker﻿ and fortunately Tim had his camera with him to record the event. GEX740F (formerly number 40 in the fleet) was one of three purchased by the Great Yarmouth undertaking in March 1968. The vehicle was one of only eight at the site - possibly an indication that summer is nearing its end (if it hasn't ended already!)

The blue and cream liveried RML 2717 (SMK717F) left the town yesterday afternoon on a low loader bound for Glasgow, having been purchased by a private buyer.

They are Scania Omnidekkas with East Lancs bodywork and registered YN54AFO/U/V. Grahame Bessey has reported the sighting of AFO and AFV operating in Norwich during early August. They are in Sanders livery and branded for route 44 Sheringham - Cromer - Aylsham - Norwich
