End Of Season Gala ~ Day 1

Coach Services' decker CS63BUS having completed park and ride duty
Saturday was the first day of the two day End of Season Gala at the East Anglia Transport Museum at Carlton Colville

Whilst I was unable to pay a visit on Saturday my friend Tim Major was there and was able to take some photos for me

The first picture is of Thetford based Coach Services double decker CS63BUS. The Wright
Lodekka XVX19 sandwiched by Great Yarmouth's Leyland PD2 and AEC Reliance
bodied Volvo B9TL was new in October 2013 and was noted on Park and Ride services

Another visitor was Bristol LD Lodekka XVX19 from the Castle Point Collection at Canvey Island

The bus received number 2400 in the Eastern National Omnibus Company numbering scheme and was the first Lodekka delivered to the company in 1954

Their is another picture of 2400 on flickr which was taken at Duke Street Bus Station in Chelmsford some 11 years later

The event was supported by Coach Services, First and Anglianbus and Tim reports that Saturday was a very busy day for the museum despite other competing events
