Anglianbus Changes ~ 24th July 2016

Anglianbus have recently published details of service changes which are effective from 24th July 2016. A brief summary follows

Anglianbus service 7 to be replaced by Konectbus route 7
7 Great Yarmouth - Norwich
This is being replaced by new Konectbus service 7 which will operate over the same route and additionally serves Postwick Park and Ride. Peak journeys will also serve Caister providing a direct link between the area and Norwich. Buses used on this service will be nearly new double deck buses with free WiFi.

60H Beccles - Halesworth
Revised timetable with less journeys reflecting demand.

60S Beccles - Southwold
Revised timetable with less journeys reflecting demand.

The 61 route will no longer serve Southwold from 24th July
61 Great Yarmouth - Lowestoft - Kessingland - Southwold
This service has been altered to reinstate a link between Magdalen Estate and Barrack Estate in Great Yarmouth connecting to the James Paget Hospital. Additionally, the section between Kessingland and Southwold will be withdrawn due to the level of competition making it commercially nonviable. Passengers should use BorderBus 146 or First 99 from 25th July 2016.

82 Beccles Town Service
Unfortunately this service is not commercially viable so will operate on Fridays only for market day.

83/84 Harleston to Norwich
Revised timetables in operation.

87/88/X88/88A Norwich - Poringland - Bungay - Halesworth - Southwold
Following customer feedback services 87/88/X88 will operate from Norwich Bus Station via St Stephens Street outside WHSmiths (Stand BQ). Early and late service 88A journeys will be withdrawn due to low passenger numbers.

90 Corton - Saint Felix School
This service is no longer commercially viable and has been withdrawn.

BH272 - Blythburgh - Bungay High School
Minor changes to the timetable.

BH274 - Halesworth - Bungay High School
To be operated by a different operator under contract to Suffolk County Council.
