Lowestoft's Last ALX400 Withdrawn

After Jon's report on activity in Lowestoft on 29th March (see Lowestoft Visit) and the use of First Lowestoft's Volvo B7TL Alexander ALX400 32651 AU05 MUO in service, he thought he would follow up with a photo of it awaiting what will be its final journey.

The ALX400 was withdrawn late last week and is shown here in the rear of the Gasworks Road depot with its Ipswich Reds vinyls covered. He believes this will be the last Volvo B7 to earn revenue in Lowestoft. This left only 32479 AU53 HJV soldiering on as the final ALX400 in service with Eastern Counties at Ipswich (which has also subsequently been removed from service)
