Open Topper In Service

With two First Great Yarmouth Geminis transferred for use on Norwich's charcoal line and their Scottish replacements not ready for service yet, Caister Road found itself lacking double-decker availability this afternoon.

Imagine my surprise then when I saw Dennis Trident/Plaxton President open topper 32905 W905VLN heading towards me on Southtown Road on the service 8 to the James Paget Hospital! I decided to get a photo of it on the return journey to Caister's Marram Drive There were two abortive attempts in the black hole of Market Gates (even with the lights on!) but mission accomplished when 32905 exited Market Gates.
