Corporate StreetDeck

Harry Holmes was in Norwich earlier this evening when he observed a First Eastern Counties StreetDeck in the new corporate livery.



He photographed 35287 SL67 VXR on Castle Meadow waiting to work the 18:15 service 13 to Attleborough.

Lowestoft Duo

Having travelled in from Great Yarmouth, two holiday coaches disgorged their passengers at the Lowestoft Railway Station bus stops earlier today.



The twosome were KM Travels' Yutung YD19 HHM and Alfa Travels' Mercedes Benz Tourismo 126 BV20 HNK - both regular visitors to Great Yarmouth.

Aldeburgh Stay

Yesterday morning I received a message from Niall Spence who spent a week in the Aldeburgh area with his wife.



Whilst there he took a few photos of bus/coach activity in the area with the first featuring BorderBus Volvo B8RLE / MCV Evora 113 BB73 BUS in Aldeburgh High Street




The second shows First Eastern Counties Wright Eclipse Urban bodied Volvo B7RLE 69547 (BF12 KWH) in heritage livery leaving Aldeburgh.



The next is of Dan's Coach Travel 's Volvo B12M / Plaxton Paragon E22 DCT seen at Dunwich Beach



The last is of ex First York, now First Eastern Counties, Wright StreetDeck 35927 MF72 WBE also leaving Aldeburgh.

Service Alterations Registered ~ 5th June 2024

Just the one item of  'local' interest appears in today's East of England Traffic Commissioner's Notices and Proceedings Report.

Acle-based Our Hire Limited, operating as Our Bus, is reintroducing its seasonal 100 service between Vauxhall Holiday Park and Britannia Pier in Great Yarmouth via Market Gates. It starts on 22nd July 2024 and ends on 31st August 2024

Another Angies Arrival

So far unreported here is the acquisition of another coach by Angie's Tours of Lowestoft is Scania Omnicity NUI 2424 formerly with Orbit Coaches of Leicester. It also saw use with Go North East as their NK56 KKG with fleet number 5271



John Rennie observed the Scania at Wroxham after it crossed the river bridge on the 24th May. Whilst with Angie's it has seen regular use on rail replacement duties.

Sanders Coaches' Arrivals

As you will have seen from Grahame's post, North Norfolk-based operator Sanders has received three new Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 MMC's which entered service yesterday.



Dan High has provided a photo of one the two other deckers which was seen in Norwich's Castle Meadow earlier today in the form of 130 HM24 SAN.



Sanders Coaches' has also acquired two former Nottingham City Transport ADL Enviro200s - 385 YX63 LJA and 386 YX63 LJC. The former (pictured) is now number 409 in the Holt-based fleet, whilst similar 386 (yet to appear repainted) will be 410. They are to be branded and dedicated for route 9 linking Sheringham with Fakenham.



The photos illustrate the exterior of 409 in Fakenham before branding is applied and the NCT interior decor which it retains.

Nottingham to North Norfolk

Sanders have added two more single decks to their fleet with the arrival of two ADL Enviro 200's from Nottingham City Transport.

YX63LJA and YX63LJC have become 409 & 410 in Sanders Fleet, 410 is pictured above at the Holt Depot back in May upon arrival prior to its repaint into Sanders livery.

409 is pictured above today in its new colours heading into Fakenham on the 9 service, both are to be route branded for this service.
