Southtown Shuttle surprise

In early May this year I reported on the sighting of former Lodge Coaches FY52PMU, an East Lancs Myllennium bodied MAN14.220, at Ambassador Travel’s premises. Last operated by H Semmence & Company, I wondered what it was doing at the Gapton Hall site.

Apparently it was receiving attention with a view to bringing it back into use. So on Monday it was observed in public use on the Ambassador operated Southtown Shuttles. These are in position whilst roadworks are underway on Southtown Road.
