A Cornishman Visits ~ 3

The final post of three recording the visit of Cornishman Dave King to Norfolk for a few days observing and photographing buses. This post takes in his visits to Great Yarmouth and Norwich.

'Although I missed the last of the Tridents by a few days it was good to see some Presidents still going strong, but for how much longer I wonder? I saw seven out eight that remain over a few hours on both days.'

'Several of these from Norwich ended up converted to open top and are still going strong in my native Cornwall. They are gradually being replaced though so this summer is likely to be their last.'

The 23rd also saw a brief visit to observe the 'former Bournemouth E400MMC's on the Costessey Park and Ride where four were noted.'

The final location was Great Yarmouth where he saw 'Ex Bournemouth Gemini on Borderbus service 580 plus a few others. Luckily the sun came out after a heavy shower as the Great Yarmouth liveried Gemini left.'

Many thanks to Dave for sending all the photos resulting in a difficult task for me to decide which ones to publish and which ones to leave out! Hope you had a great time in Norfolk Dave
