David Bell has recently returned from a few days in Scotland with the Merseyside Bus Club on their annual holiday.
Whilst the Club was over the border they visited the premises of Prentice Westwood of West Calder who have two heritage coaches previously owned by East Anglian operators. One was EAH 44K, a 1972 Bedford YRQ/Duple, which was new to Chenery of Dickleburgh.
The other coach was WCE 95T, a Bedford YMT/Plaxton, which was new to Cambridgeshire Constabulary in 1979 and then spent a number of years in the fleet of Dews of Somersham.
My thanks to David the report and photos.
Roy
