South Downs Connection

West Sussex operator, Stagecoach South, has recently upgraded the busses it uses on its route 1 starting from Worthing town centre.

Those employed comprise four Enviro 300 vehicles which feature illustrations of local tourist destinations. They also offer free Wi-Fi, e-leather seating and additional space for comfortable travel.

The service operates from Worthing into the South Downs National Park via Pulborough, Storrington and Petworth to Midhurst and feature a mainly green South Downs Connection livery.

After much observation I eventually got a photo of one of them on the route on South Street in Worthing yesterday. The other specially liveried bus noted was working off route to and from Durrington Tesco store on the 5 and 10 services!
