Borderbus continues to provide deckers for its first run of the day to Great Yarmouth's Market Gates.
Today the 8:10 ex Bungay and the 9:35 return was provided by one of its Plaxton Presidents. No 206 (X652LLX) was employed today complete with its working destination display, although not showing very well in the photo
It was preceded through Gorleston High Street by a First Eastern Counties X1 to Lowestoft and they drew up together at the stand. Having witnessing the beginning of the service, I thought the President would be wasting its time in stopping. How wrong can you be - only two got on the X1 with at least half a dozen ignoring it and walking to the 580! Obviously the word is spreading which is very encouraging
