Local Activity

First Routemaster JJD480D being loaded at Market Gates
I spent a couple of hours in Great Yarmouth this afternoon and it was good to be back on home territory after being away for a week

A minute or so after arriving on one of the former Jersey Darts, First Routemaster RML2480 JJD480D appeared on Service 3 destined for Hemsby Beach.

With roadworks underway at the south end of Northgate Street all northbound services, including the 3, were using St Nicholas Road and Nelson Road North as a diversion
Toyota BB50R/ Caetano owned by Perry's of Woolpit
At Beach Coach Station there was an unusual visitor in the form of Toyota BB50R/ Caetano T410KDX owned by Perry's of Woolpit, Bury St Edmunds. The 24 seater coach, new in May 1999, looked quite small compared to the larger coaches of Alfa Travel and Shearings!

The Alfa Travel coach was Volvo B12B/Plaxton Paragon 53 PN09HMH; whilst the Shearings vehicle was white liveried Jonckheere Mistral bodied Volvo B12M/ 527 MX03 AED
