New Bus Stands at Lowestoft Railway Station

As plans are being drawn up to breathe new life into Lowestoft Railway Station, new bus stands came into use there earlier today

Regular contributor Syd Eade witnessed the event and says 'serving it appeared to be 'optional'; although by far more First buses pulled in than Anglian.'

One of the Anglian buses using the new facility was Optare Solo MX53FDP

quite a few cars decided to ignore the 'No Entry' and 'Taxis and Buses Only ' signs and drove in to either park or drop off....a portent of what is to come I expect.'
