News from First Great Yarmouth is that two Wright Eclipse Geminis have headed back to Norwich this morning following a loan period. With the end of seasonal service 3, the local PVR has reduced meaning the return of 36172/80 (BD11CFV/Z) to the 'Fine City'

In addition, two Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TLs have also transferred on loan to Norwich. They are 32205/12 (LT52WTL/V) which currently leaves only three Presidents at Caister Road (excluding the open topper)

  1. Re the photo of 32212. I wonder how many readers can remember this junction with King Street being called Tom Green's Corner?

  2. Yes I remember it well as my mother used to work in Divers public house opposite where the Clarks shoe shop is now

The Tom Greens building is still there with a similar business Greenwoods Menswear trading from the site

  3. Ah, Divers bar. Spent many nights in there as a youngster before moving on to the more upmarket Star Hotel Bar. Happy days (when real buses were blue and ivory).
