A significant number of changes to First Eastern Counties services in the Great Yarmouth area feature in today's East of England Traffic Commissioner's Notices and Proceedings Report.
Three new services have been registered by First Eastern Counties to take effect from 26th May 2024:-
* 2 Great Yarmouth Market Gates to the James Paget Hospital, Gorleston
* 3/3B Great Yarmouth Market Gates to Mill Road, Burgh Castle (service 3), Bracon Road, Belton (service 3B)
* 994 Schooldays only Durban Close, Halesworth to Bungay High School, Bungay
The operator is also to vary the following existing services from the same date:-
* 1/1A Lowestoft Bus Station to Repps Road, Martham via Great Yarmouth - timetable changes
* 7 Great Yarmouth Market Gates / James Paget Hospital and Norwich Bus Station - amend route, start and finish point plus timetable.
* 99/998 Lowestoft Bus Station and Pier Avenue, Southwold - amend route and timetable
* 99A Kings Head, Southwold to St Mary's Street, Bungay - amend route and timetable
* X1 Market Gates, Great Yarmouth to Lowestoft Bus Station - amend timetable
* X1/X11/901 Norwich Bus Station to Market Gates, Great Yarmouth - amend timetable
As a result of the above First Eastern Counties is to cancel the following services from 25th May 2024:-
* 2 Market Gates, Great Yarmouth to Barrack Estate, Great Yarmouth
* 5 Market Gates Great Yarmouth to Burgh Castle
* 6/6B/7 Market Gates, Great Yarmouth to Bradwell/Belton
Sanders Coaches is to amend the timetables of the following two services from 2nd June 2024:-
* 43/43A /43B Reepham Market Place to Norwich Bus Station
* X44 / 44A / X40 / X41 Norwich Bus Station to Station Approach, Sheringham,
Richard Hipkiss and Pamela Hipkiss, trading as Feeline Travel from Unit 2 Horizon Industrial Estate in Catfield, surrendered their licence with effect from 24th April 2024
