Simonds of Bottesdale, based at Diss on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, has been purchased by Vectare and will remain operationally separate from other parts of their business. Vectare provides a number of local bus networks across the East Midlands, Essex and Hertfordshire plus the East of England.
Simonds operates school, private hire and rail replacement services alongside tour and day excursions plus a small network of local bus services. Their vehicles are regularly seen in the Great Yarmouth area with the business working closely with both Norfolk and Suffolk County Councils
Vectare plans to refresh the local bus network, invest in the coach fleet and further develop Simonds' presence in the tours, excursions and tourism market.
