Fleet Re-allocations

Grahame Bessey reports that First Suffolk & Norfolk made some re-allocations to its local fleet over the holiday period.

Former Kings Lynn stalwart 30888 (W743DWX) has moved from Great Yarmouth to First Essex. In its place comes another Volvo B7TL 32213 (LT52WTW) from Norwich. Its not a stranger to the town having been used on the 1/1A whilst based in Lowestoft last year.

Leyland Olympian 34333 (H132FLX) has again been withdrawn from service following its temporary reprieve working Bernard Matthews contracts in the period leading up to Christmas.

Fares & Services

Today also saw First Suffolk & Norfolk implement changes to local fares and services with  timetable alterations on routes 1, 2, 6B and X1. For further timetable information visit the First Group website

  1. Happy Birthday indeed Roy. Congratulations on providing regular news and observations - a enjoyable blog for the ex-Pat East Norfolk boy.
What will 2012 bring? Anglian doing in Great Yarmouth what Norfolk Green did in King's Lynn?
Great Yarmouth Town FC merging with Gorleston? - I can hear the screams from the Wellesley, but something needs to be done, and fast!
Happy Birthday and all the best for 2012.
