This time we take a look at the former Caroline Seagull AEC Reliances acquired from East Kent
Many readers will be well aware of this old Great Yarmouth independent which ceased trading in March 2008
During 1980 GJG641D arrived in the Caroline Seagull workshops in Queens Road for a repaint into its new
owners colour scheme
The 2U3RA coach version of the Reliance was new to East Kent in April 1966 and GJG641D is seen in Queens Road on 25th September 1980
Next up are two pictures of the 6U3ZR model - the first being the bus version in the shape of OFN732F. East Kent put her into service in June 1968 and she is seen here
outside Caroline Seagull's premises
The final image shows the dual purpose version of the AEC Reliance, new in April 1968
OJG137F still retains National white when pictured at Blackfriars Road with logo and fleet names painted over
The three pictures highlight the many Reliances acquired from East Kent during the early 1980's
