London Transport Trolleybus CUL260 celebrates it 80th birthday this year |
In addition to celebrating the 80th birthday of London trolleybus 260, there will be two very special attendees from the London Transport Museum.
The first is an AEC K type bus, K424, new to the London General Omnibus Company in 1920. Running on solid tyres, its double deck body seats 46 passengers.
The second one is a 1931 six wheel AEC Renown, LT1076. With its 35 seat single deck body, this type of bus were known as scooters. It is hoped that both of these are will be available for limited rides within the museum during the weekend.
