More On Anglianbus Changes

Anglianbus has provided more information on their website concerning changes to local services from Tuesday 18th April 2017

61 Kessingland - Lowestoft - Gorleston - JPH - Great Yarmouth
A 30 minute frequency between Kessingland and Lowestoft Tesco will be maintained plus an hourly service will continue on to Great Yarmouth, however, there will be some longer gaps at peak times. To be commended is that the route between Gorleston and Yarmouth will serve Gapton Hall Retail Park, instead of Southtown Road and will also link to Cobholm's Tesco Extra store. Unfortunately the Sunday operation will be withdrawn due to low usage.

71 Belton - Great Yarmouth
Following insufficient support this route will be withdrawn with First Norfolk & Suffolk continuing to provide services to Belton..

80A Harleston - Bungay High School
This route continues unchanged although withdrawal is expected at the end of the school summer term due to low patronage.

81 Bungay - Beccles - Great Yarmouth
There has also been insufficient support for this route so it will be withdrawn. BorderBus service 580 continues to serve most stops on this route.

88/X88/88A Southwold - Halesworth - Bungay - Norwich
A number of detailed adjustments have been made whilst retaining the same number of journeys to improve punctuality.

88B Wrentham - Southwold - Bungay High School
Service 88B is withdrawn with alternative facilities aavailable on service 60S or service BH272 which will be extended beyond Blyford via Halesworth Road to Southwold Kings Head and thence via North Cove to Wrentham. The extension of 60S and BH272 has yet to be confirmed.
