Today's Throw Back Thursday focuses on one of the older Anglian buses - Mercedes Benz O303 registered as OXK395

There were two Anglian buses with that plate (the other was a Volvo B58) with the Mercedes previously registered D351CBC. As such it was new to Hirst of Holmfirth in June 1987 and was observed with a D411OSJ plate when with Chenery in 1993. A photo on ipernity shows it at Drummer Street in Cambridge working a National Express service to Lowestoft in October of that year. It also saw use with Parks of Hamilton as GIL1682

My photo shows OXK395, with fleet number 105, at Ipswich Old Cattle Market on 18th July 2008 having been employed on a Harleston service
