West Midland Deckers

National Express West Midlands BJ03EUM outside the Wheatsheaf  in Coleshill
Another of our weekend visits to the West Midlands to see friends and family for a catchup

Most of Saturday we spent in Coleshill located to the south of Birmingham and regular readers will be aware of bus operations there. If not put Coleshill in the search box in the left hand corner above

It wasn't until late afternoon that we made our way to the High
Enviro 400s have appeared on the Sapphire 110 Birmingham - Tamworth route
Street and I was fortunate that the light was still holding to get a couple of photos of bus activity

This is a picture of a National Express West Midlands decker at a stop in Station Road. It was their 4441 BJ03EUM, a Transbus bodied Dennis Trident, on the 70 route back to Birmingham City Centre

Meanwhile in Tamworth on Sunday I was able to view improvements to the Arriva West Midlands 110 Birmingham service.

The company has invested £2 million in the Sapphire route between the two centres by providing nine new Alexander Dennis Eviro400s

The 15 minute interval service (on weekdays) began on October 4th with Queen lookalike, Mary Reynolds, officially launching the service in Tamworth
