As previously mentioned, I undertook one of Leger Holidays' Battlefields of Europe tour over the past few days being primarily based in Belgium close to the French border.
Our tour bus was a Bova FHD owned by Winns Coaches of Brompton in North Yorkshire which had Leger Holidays branding. The specially plated W18NNS was previously registered YJ12KGY when new to the operator in April 2012. The photo shows it near Hill 60 in the Zwarteleen area of Belgium with Shearings Holidays Tourismo 859 (BJ16KXW) for company on 8th August
The next day in Aras, France, I observed Pats Coaches Plaxton bodied Volvo B9R YN13AWP parked up at the Grand'Place wearing Leger Holidays Silver Service livery
On the whole the Leger Holidays experience was very good with our guide Colin Parslow very knowledgeable on his subject matter which was punctuated with some interesting anecdotes and facts. Equally impressive was the speed and efficiency of the Leger staff transferring baggage from the feeder coaches to the tour coaches. Not so impressive though was the quality of comfort on the feeder minibus run back from Thurrock Services to Gorleston - even though arrival was early.
