Solo YJ55BGV between duties on Marine Parade in Worthing. It was new to Pullman of Swansea in October 2005 |
As you will have seen from my recent posts from the south coast, independent Compass Travel (Compass Bus) operates a network of bus and school contract services throughout East & West Sussex, Brighton and into Surrey.
|
Pictured at the same location Transbus Dart SN53ETK was new to the company in October 2003 |
In addition to some seventy buses it also operates a small fleet of luxury coaches centred on its two depots at Worthing and Lewes. More than half the bus fleet is made up Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 or 300s although it also operates Dennis/Transbus Darts in addition to its Optare Solos and Wright StreetLites. A few Tridents are also employed
|
Still retaining its London United red livery, Dart SLF LG02FFL is also pictured on Marine Parade |
Three of the saloons it operates accompany this post. Further information about the company, including a fleetlist, can be found on its website at
www.compass-travel.co.uk
