An Hour In Norwich

Dolphin Autos Scania K113CRB K16KEN in Theatre Street
This afternoon I spent an hour in the centre of Norwich observing bus activity - even though the weather gradually deteriorated making photography not all that brilliant!

After leaving the better half at the Millennium Library I wondered through to Theatre Street to make my way to the bus station

It was outside the Assembly Room on Theatre Street that I saw Dolphin Autos Van
Easton Coaches B9AWE in St Stephens Street
Hool bodied Scania K16KEN. She was new in August 1989 and Dolphin acquired her from Spratts of Wreningham during June 2007

On St Stephens Street Easton's Bova B9AWE appeared to be operating on bus duties. She was previously registered YD02PXT and was new to Blenkinsop of West Cornforth in County Durham

I then continued to
Mercedes Benz Citaro 804 BL57OXN on Costessey P&R
Surrey Street Bus Station and duly signed in at the Information Desk

In addition to the usual Norse and Konect deckers on Park & Ride services, I also noted three of the Citaro bendy buses on the Costessey P&R

Because of their length it is very difficult to get a reasonable picture of them. However, I got a reasonable one of 804 BL57OXN turning away from the stand. The
Norfolk Green Optare Tempo YJ57YCC in her new livery
other two seen were 800 BD57WDA and 803 BL57OXM; making three of the five currently in service. All were from London Central buses in late 2011

Also making an appearance was Norfolk Green Optare Tempo YJ57YCC repainted in her new livery. She is the first to be repainted since the business was acquired by Stagecoach late last year

Another working of note was Chenery's Caetano Levante bodied Volvo B9R FJ60HXS on the 490 route from london Victoria
