Ormiston Flier

GLZ1270 emerges from the gloom of Market Gates Bus Station
Ambassador Travel operates a number of schools contracts in the town and one that can be relied upon to bring out some of the older members of the fleet is the service between Gorleston's Ormiston School and Market Gates Bus Station

The coach usually arrives at Market Gates at around 3pm (sometimes before) and unloads all of its schoolchildren before returning to its depot at Gapton Hall Estate. (Schools seems to be finishing earlier and earlier - we were not let out until 4pm!)

Yesterday's vehicle was Volvo B10M/ Plaxton Paramount GLZ1270. New as 248-D-334 in November 1987, she was subsequently registered JD3164 and E607KSP. Ambassador acquired her from Paul James of Hugglescote, Leicestershire in July 2005
