Former London Transport RML 2464 JJD464D was in Great Yarmouth Market Place today advertising business services available to Nat West bank customers
Unfortunately the rain didn't help to produce some good photos - neither did the inconveniently parked Harbour Radio car!
RML 2464 was new to London Transport in April 1966 and was pressed into service at Finchley a month later. After spells at West Ham, Hornchurch and Stpckwell she received a new Cummins engine in 1991.
Upon privatisation in late 1994 she worked for London United. She was withdrawn in September 2004 and placed into store at Tolworth
She was sold to Ensignbus (dealers)
three months later from where she was acquired by Master Exhibitions of London.
They converted the RML into a mobile exhibition unit for the Royal Bank of Scotland complete with open top and awning - it is now used for promotional duties by NatWest.
RML 2464's history was obtained from the excellent Ian's Bus Stop website
