LL812 JCL812 ready for her trip to Peterborough and return on 29th April 1982
Forgotten Eastline Service

Occasional contributor
James Long saw the Eastline feature on the blog and has sent the following thoughts

'Seeing the pictures of Syd Eade's 790 service to Great Yarmouth & the 794 service to Peterborough, I
LL753 MCL935P about to take up her 792 duties on 27th May 1984
thought
I would add the forgotten 792 Ipswich to Peterborough which continued on to Felixstowe in the summer. Now that is also a route and a half!

The service was taken over by the split up of Eastern Counties with Ambassador Travel taking up the role during  Sept 1984

Another reorganisation saw Cambus take on
Cambus 424 (ex ECOC LL824) RNG824W making its last run of the day to
Cambridge on 23rd October 1988
that coaching section and I have enclosed photos of that period'

Many thanks for the photos and report Jim, I had completely forgotten about the 792.

Its good to see pictures of the old coaches in service once more
