Olympian Goes For Scrap

In January last year, I reported that First had donated Volvo Olympian 34156 P656UFB to Norfolk Fire Service for training purposes and was stored in a compound at Gorleston Fire Station in High Road

On Wednesday P656UFB was collected by Alpha Recovery for scrapping with regular contributor Jamie Skinner reporting that many windows had been removed and that the drivers wall no longer remains. Jamie gained approval in December last year to access the interior of the decker and his report and photos can be found HERE

Northern Counties bodied 34156 was new to First Bristol in June 1997 as their 9656 and moved to Eastern Counties from First Somerset & Avon in December 2008
