#TBT United Counties In Great Yarmouth

Time for Throw Back Thursday and, following last week's feature on Eastern National vehicles appearing at Beach Coach Station, we look at another NBC company which also had a presence there during the 1980s

An unusual visitor to Beach Coach Station on 9th June 1982 was this United Counties Leyland National
Again Beach Coach Station is the venue and this time a United Counties bus is shown and unusually a Leyland National ventured to the seaside. It must have been an 'interesting' journey to say the least!

MNH568V was one of a batch of thirteen new to United Counties in December 1979 and subsequently passed to Brylaine were it received a mainly white livery with 'Skegness - Boston - Spalding - Peterborough - Lincoln' branding and a photo in that guise appears on Flickr

It later found its way to Liverbus of Huyton which was owned by Gemsam Holdings. Liverbus was an independent operator set up by former Merseybus employees in January 1990
