Ambassador Addition

A recent addition to the Ambassador Travel fleet is a Mercedes Benz O814D from the associate business of H Semmence of Wymondham. SF53KUV was new to Semmence in December 2003 and was noted at Ambassador's Gapton Hall premises in late March immediately after school closures took place due to the Coronavirus.

Noted alongside is FY52PMU a MAN 14.220 with an East Lancs Myllennium chassis. It still retains former owner Lodge of High Easter colour scheme, although it too came via Semmence. This was a regular performer on the 878 Alpington to East Norfolk/ Great Yarmouth Colleges prior to service suspension. It has received fleet number 605 whilst the Mercedes Benz is now 607

    Good post! I believe FY52 PMU was loaned to Semmence for a brief period at the end of last year for use on the route 9, so interesting to see both vehicles have now travelled up to Great Yarmouth.
